Job Description
We are looking for a smart and detail-oriented design engineer to join our team. As a design engineer, you will help us with different engineering tasks, like coming up with ideas, doing research, and making models of new products.
You will work closely with our design and production teams on different projects. You should know a lot about design and how to use engineering software. It's also important to be a good communicator and problem-solver.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Make drawings, plans, and pictures to help us understand our ideas better
- Build test versions of our products to see if they work well
- Find ways to make our production process more efficient
- Use special software to make models and drawings of our new products
- Keep track of our old designs and make sure they still work well
- Check our prototypes to see if there are any problems or risks
- Figure out how much money we will need to make our new designs
- Watch over the manufacturing process to make sure everything goes as planned
- Work with other engineers, managers, and our creative team
Requirements and Qualifications
- A college degree in design engineering, engineering, product design, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience doing a similar job
- Good at writing and talking to others
- Very careful and good at paying attention to small details
- Know how to use Microsoft Office and popular design software
- Able to work on more than one thing at a time and manage your time well
