Job Description

We are looking for a healthcare assistant to support healthcare professionals in a variety of tasks under the supervision of qualified nurses. This includes assisting patients with personal care, performing clinical duties, and recording medical test results for analysis by healthcare professionals.

To be successful in this role, you should have a caring and compassionate personality. You should also be physically capable of tasks like helping patients move, turning them over, and lifting heavy medical equipment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Restocking supplies and medical equipment.
  • Assisting patients with mobility.
  • Setting up equipment for healthcare professionals.
  • Taking and recording patients' temperature, blood pressure, and blood glucose levels.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • NVQ qualification in health and social care.
  • Passing a medical check.
