We are looking for an experienced food service manager to join our team. Your main responsibilities will be making sure that meals are served correctly and resolving any issues customers may have. You should also be able to help during busy times by assisting with serving and handling payments.

To be successful in this role, you should pay close attention to detail and have a good understanding of food safety regulations. You should also be able to multitask and have strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Hiring, training, and managing food service employees
  • Creating work schedules to make sure all shifts are covered
  • Handling payroll and keeping employment records
  • Ensuring that customers receive high-quality food in a timely manner
  • Regularly checking work areas to make sure they meet food safety standards
  • Keeping track of food and supply inventory, ordering more when needed, and receiving deliveries
  • Accurately recording all cash and card payments
  • Reviewing sales records to determine which menu items are most profitable
  • Arranging for cleaning and maintenance services, such as pest control, deep cleaning, and equipment maintenance
  • Taking care of closing tasks, like turning off lights and setting the alarm system

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Preferably a bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management, food service management, or a related field
  • Certification as a food protection manager or foodservice management professional is a plus
  • Previous experience in the food service industry
