We are seeking a confident expeditor to help keep our business running smoothly. Your role will involve overseeing tasks like receiving and sending out shipments, making sure orders are correct, and keeping track of progress, costs, and inventory. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with different people both inside and outside the company.
- Collaborating with project managers to prepare for meetings about ongoing projects.
- Communicating with suppliers to make sure deliveries are on time.
- Checking incoming shipments to make sure they are accurate and meet our standards.
- Making sure materials and work are moving smoothly between different departments.
- Checking reports for any errors or issues that need to be addressed.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
- Meeting with management to discuss any problems with suppliers and find solutions.
- Completing administrative tasks and keeping accurate records.
- Following company policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Good understanding of how to purchase materials and services.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well with others.
