Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Talk to patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns
- Order tests, treatments, or surgery when needed
- Keep detailed notes of appointments, including comments, prescribed treatments, and test results
- Perform tests to check the health of patients' hearts and cardiovascular systems
- Interpret test results to understand how well the heart and cardiovascular system are working
- Use medical equipment like CT and MRI scanners to diagnose and treat conditions

Requirements and Qualifications
- Completed bachelor's degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
- 3-7 years of training and experience in cardiology
- Passed the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
- Certification in cardiology or a related specialty from The American Board of Internal Medicine
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Great bedside manner and communication skills
