Job Description

We are looking for a cardiologist who is certified and experienced to join our team. You will work with patients to provide a range of services and treatments for heart and cardiovascular issues. This includes performing tests, making diagnoses, creating treatment plans, and working with other doctors and surgeons to help patients.

To do well as a cardiologist, you need to make important decisions about your patients' care and stay strong in difficult medical situations. You also need to be able to work well with others in a complex and diverse environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Talk to patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns
  • Order tests, treatments, or surgery when needed
  • Keep detailed notes of appointments, including comments, prescribed treatments, and test results
  • Perform tests to check the health of patients' hearts and cardiovascular systems
  • Interpret test results to understand how well the heart and cardiovascular system are working
  • Use medical equipment like CT and MRI scanners to diagnose and treat conditions
  • Assist with or perform surgery, including complex procedures that require a team of medical professionals
  • Prescribe medication for heart and cardiovascular disease
  • Support and advise patients who need long-term care
  • Train and educate junior staff when needed

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Completed bachelor's degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
  • 3-7 years of training and experience in cardiology
  • Passed the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
  • Certification in cardiology or a related specialty from The American Board of Internal Medicine
  • Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
  • Great bedside manner and communication skills
  • Flexible working hours
