We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented accounting specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, maintaining accurate records, assisting with routine accounting tasks, and providing prompt and friendly responses to inquiries and complaints from clients, vendors, and lenders. Strong communication and computer skills are also required for this position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify, record, and process financial transactions using documents.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and inventory information.
  • Assist with daily, monthly, and yearly accounting activities, such as generating financial reports, developing budgets, preparing taxes, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure accurate charges and timely payments.
  • Speak with clients to discuss account status, charges, or discrepancies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, financial legislation, and company policies and procedures through ongoing education opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Additional education or experience may be required.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation.
