We are looking for a YouTube Channel Manager to join our growing team of avid pop culture fans who are passionate about creating the very best viral talent show content online. The ideal candidate will be a creative visionary with a sharp eye for what resonates with online audiences and a knack for crafting content that captures the energy and excitement of talent competitions. A data-driven strategist, you'll be experienced with YouTube's algorithm and thrive on optimizing channels to drive growth and engagement. You know how to interpret trends, test new strategies, and refine them to achieve tangible results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to grow our YouTube channel through engaging, shareable content that aligns with talent show seasons and events.
• Data Analysis: Utilize advanced analytics to track viewer engagement, optimize content performance, and drive channel growth. Identify trends and patterns to leverage content virality.
• Viral Hacking: Employ innovative "hacking" techniques to increase content visibility and engagement. This includes SEO, thumbnail optimization, and understanding YouTube algorithms for maximum reach.
• Talent Show Expertise: Use your deep knowledge of talent shows to create content that resonates with fans, including reactions, analyses, and behind-the-scenes insights.
• Community Management: Foster a vibrant community by interacting with viewers, responding to comments, and encouraging subscriber growth through community challenges and live sessions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with video editors, scriptwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure content quality and alignment with our brand voice

Requirements

• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing or growing a YouTube channel or similar social media platform, preferably in the entertainment or talent show sector.
• Data Savvy: Strong background in data analysis with experience using tools like Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics, or similar platforms.
• Passion for Talent Shows: A true fan of shows like America's Got Talent, The Voice, with the ability to generate content ideas that captivate similar audiences.
• Hacking Mindset: Innovative thinker with a history of using creative, unconventional methods to boost content visibility and engagement.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences and manage online community interactions.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media Studies, Communications, or related field preferred but not mandatory if experience is substantial.
