Welder

Our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Equipment Control department supporting the US team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Pay Range:

$19-21 per hour

Shift:

Monday - Friday 7am -4:30pm

What's the Job?

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding processes and techniques.

Set up welding equipment and perform welding operations on various materials, including steel and aluminum.

Inspect and test welds for quality, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements.

Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production schedules and project deadlines.

Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or equivalency; vocational training in welding is a plus.

Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Proficient in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.

Valid welding certification is preferred.
