Watchman/Security personnel

Bon Secours Wellness Arena is in search of professional part-time watchman/security personnel for 2nd & 3rd shifts to ensure safety and security of our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and ensure appropriate safeguards. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

• Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Observe for signs of disorder and investigate disturbances
• Notify authorities and arena management of emergency incidents

Requirements

Minimum:

• At least 18 years old with High School diploma or equivalent GED
• Proven work experience as security personnel or relevant position
• Must be Dependable and Punctual
• Surveillance skills and high attention to detail
• Integrity and professionalism
• Ability to remain calm and composed during high activity; to remain alert to surroundings and to think quickly under pressure

Benefits

Scheduling - Flexible shifts and days, part-time only

Pay Frequency : Bi-weekly; Direct Deposit required.

Hourly Rate: $12.00 FLSA status: non-exempt

Work Shift :

• Weekdays (Monday - Friday)
• 2nd shift: 5:00pm - 11:00pm
• 3rd shift: Midnight - 8:00am
• Weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
• 2nd - 5:00pm - 11:00pm
• 3rd - Midnight - 8am
