Basic Description:

The Warehouse Associate works on the front lines of our warehouse operation helping to ship, receive, sort, and move inventory for thousands of unique orders per day. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy in receiving shipments off containers, moving merchandise throughout the warehouse, picking goods to be packed, and packing goods for final shipment to the customer. Team members are encouraged to creatively resolve issues and go above and beyond to ensure order accuracy, team safety, and the satisfaction of our customers across the globe. This is a full-time position at our Westlake Village, CA facility. Our regular full-time day shift is 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with seasonal overtime opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Help to ship, receive, sort, move, manage, test, and repack inventory for thousands of unique orders per day.
• Receive palletized and loose box truck and container shipments. Unload and sort goods.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse as necessary and inventory goods on a quarterly basis.
• Sort pick tickets, walk aisles, and accurately pick merchandise for shipment.
• Accurately pack a minimum of 50 unique orders per hour into the correct packaging for shipment.
• Maintain a clean work area and sweep, re-stock, and clean the warehouse daily.
• Assist with product testing, repacking, and sorting of defective merchandise.
• Assist with various other related tasks as assigned by the Floor Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must possess high school level math and reading skills and be able to read and write English.
• Must be comfortable working on his/her feet for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis sometimes on raised surfaces.
• Must be able to comfortably bend, kneel, and reach for items on deep shelves.
• Must be able to carry heavy items up and down ladders and step stools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 or 2 years of professional industry experience working in a busy warehouse or distribution facility.
• An appreciation for simple solutions to complex problems.
• An ability to build professional, constructive, and effective working relationships as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and be assertive in implementing successful management strategies.
• An ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills.

Benefits

Pay range: $17.00 per hour.

This is a full-time position that reports daily to our Westlake Village, CA headquarters.
