Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join their team.

As a Warehouse Associate I, you will be part of the Last Mile department supporting warehouse and freight operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Union City, CA

Pay Range: $21.00/hr

What's the Job?

1. Perform labor-intensive tasks, including manual lifting of freight up to 75 pounds.

2. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking merchandise, and matching purchase orders.

3. Read and process customer orders, shipping orders, and work orders to determine items for distribution.

4. Ensure the warehouse remains accessible and safe for employees and customers.

5. Operate safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures while assembling products and conducting inventory counts.

What's Needed?

1. Basic written and verbal communication skills.

2. Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds.

3. Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry preferred.

4. Experience with handheld scanners and loading/unloading trailers is a plus.

5. Availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
