Video Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing video content for various platforms, including social media & websites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Edit video footage: Assemble and edit raw footage into a cohesive narrative, ensuring a high level of technical quality and visual appeal.

2. Collaborate with team members: Work closely with brands, directors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.

3. Develop and implement visual style: Create and maintain a consistent visual style throughout each project, using colour correction, sound design, and motion graphics.

4. Meet deadlines and deliverables: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously update skills and knowledge to stay current with the latest editing software, technologies, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Requirements:

1. 1+ years of experience: Proven experience in video editing, preferably in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

2. Proficiency in editing software: Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

3. Strong storytelling skills: Ability to craft compelling narratives and convey complex information in an engaging, easy-to-understand manner.

4. Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project requirements.

5. Excellent communication skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with motion graphics: Familiarity with motion graphics software, such as After Effects or Blender.

2. Knowledge of color grading: Understanding of color grading principles and techniques.
