Vehicle Technician

We're looking for a detail-driven Independent Auto Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for disassembling and reassembling a wide range of vehicle components, documenting each step of the process to ensure quality and consistency, and applying your technical know-how to enhance modern automotive systems.

This is a unique opportunity to work independently on exciting builds that involve not only traditional auto skills but also cutting-edge manufacturing techniques like 3D printing, light metalwork, and plastic forming.

• Disassemble and reassemble interior automotive components with precision and care
• Remove and reinstall wiring harnesses, trim pieces, and body panels
• Create, update, and maintain detailed build instructions and technical documentation
• Apply your knowledge of modern automotive entertainment systems during installs and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with a forward-thinking team, while managing your own workflow and schedule
• Utilize innovative manufacturing techniques to support unique builds and prototypes

Requirements

Proven experience as an Auto Technician with a strong focus on teardown and reassembly

Deep understanding of vehicle interiors, wiring, and trim work

Strong documentation and organizational skills you take pride in doing it right and writing it down

Comfortable working independently and efficiently

Familiarity with modern infotainment systems and electronic components

Bonus points for experience with:

• Automotive prototyping or low-volume manufacturing
• 3D printing, plastic forming, or light fabrication
• Diagnostic tools and advanced vehicle systems
