About The Role:
As a CBRE VAS (Valuation & Advisory Services) Managing Director, you will be in a market-facing leadership role accountable for the growth and performance of all VAS business lines. Key areas of focus include driving client outcomes, talent (recruit, develop, and retain), enabling an optimized operating model, and deployment and adoption of key platform initiatives.
What You'll Do:
Lead
producers and supervise team performance, handling workloads, ensuring
performance targets are met and ensuring that employees are following
guidelines and quality and risk management protocols. Proactively focus on
performance to ensure the achievement of individual and team goals.
Lead
all aspects of the training, development, mentoring, and regular
monitoring of direct report's performance. Resolve and address situations
as needed.
Active
participation in leadership meetings, responsible for sharing the VAS
strategy, supporting execution and delivery of central initiatives.
Deliver
the financial goals of the business, including revenue, operating margin
(DOP & SOP) and market share.
Build
new client relationships, expand existing relationships, and focusing on
client outcomes. Promote the broader CBRE business and cross selling
opportunities with clients.
Lead
the planning, organization and controls for the Valuations team in the
area. Responsible for quality control, training, and mentoring to
outstanding class work product.
Deliver
development pathways for our professionals. Drive specialization and
productivity ensuring we have the top professionals.
Coordinate
with local CBRE leadership (non-VAS) ensuring participation,
collaboration, and overall engagement with the local office.
Participate
in development and deployment of key VAS technology initiatives with focus
on a consistently high-quality product. Drive adoption of efficiencies to
achieve operational excellence, promoting national standardization and
consistency.
Handles
risk identified through CBRE?s Enterprise Risk Management Program and the
VAS Quality Risk Management policies and procedures.
Ensure
adherence to the VAS Practice Area Guidelines (PAG).
Communicate
CBRE and VAS corporate strategies.

Bachelor's
degree (BA, BS) from College or University required; Master's degree
preferred (MA, MS or MBA).
A
minimum of 7 years of commercial real estate experience.
Prior
experience in a supervisory and/or leadership position with team oversight
responsibilities required.
Applicable
Real Estate Licenses and/or professional designations preferred
Ability
to comprehend, analyze, and interpret business documents. Ability to
respond to issues.
Requires
in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews
financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates.
Proficient
in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Strong
ability to build, maintain, and seek out new relationships with clients,
prospects, and internal CBRE partners.
Applicants

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate?s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the VAS Managing Director position is $170,000 annually and the maximum salary for the VAS Managing Director position is $200,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate?s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE?s applicable benefit program.
