Trust & Estate Attorney (Senior Counsel Or Member)

Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, a full-service law firm of more than 300 attorneys with 14 offices that are located across New York State, as well as in Boston, Kansas City, FL and NJ, is seeking an experienced Trust & Estate attorney at the Senior Counsel or Member (Partner) level to join its Buffalo, NY office.

Location: Buffalo, NY

Qualifications:

• Admitted to practice in New York state;
• J.D. degree from an accredited law school;
• An LLM in tax law or estate planning is helpful, but not required;
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of experience practicing estate planning, representing high-net worth individuals and trusts with respect to estate, income, and gift tax planning matters, as well as trust and estate administration;
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and promptly respond to client?s needs;
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills;
• Committed to legal profession and teamwork approach;
• Experience working with/overseeing a team of paralegals is preferred but not required; and
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Bond also works with small business owners to design and implement business succession plans.

The salary range at the Senior Counsel level is $150,000 ? $250,000 and represents the firm?s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation, and title, will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate?s years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location.
