Job Description
We are currently seeking attorneys with outstanding credentials and qualifications to join our market-leading Technology & IP Transactions group in the Bay Area. We are specifically seeking associates who have three to six years of experience with technology and IP-intensive transactions or other relevant experience. Our associates have the opportunity to work on a wide range of transactions, including domestic and international transactions that Kirkland handles for public and private companies across a broad spectrum of industries including software and AI, pharma and life sciences, energy and infrastructure, chemical and industrial, consumer products, and media and entertainment. Matters include mergers and acquisitions, financing, joint ventures, strategic alliances, restructurings, software and systems agreements, outsourcing, R&D agreements, collaboration agreements, licenses (patent, trademark, copyright, and data/databases), and other commercial agreements. Technical degree not required.

Compensation is based upon the roles and responsibilities of the position, the experience and education of the applicant and/or employee and is aligned with internal pay equity within Kirkland & Ellis LLP itself. The hiring salary range for this position is between $260,000 and $390,000. These figures are not representative of the full compensation range for this position.
