Key Responsibilities:

+ Create and manage detailed program and project plans that map directly to larger team goals.

Identify resource requirements, task owners, milestones, dependencies, and key risks.

Lead cross-functional internal teams through program milestones, serving as central coordination point.

Ensure new and existing publications follow established documentation procedures.

Lead internal process documentation.

Evaluate existing publications for quality, relevancy, and accuracy.

Responsible for creating documents from technical information provided by technical staff or ensuring documents produced by technical staff are consistent with formats and standards.

Develop custom programs for web sites that will attract and appeal to users and provide desired information.

Create web applications and components from the requirements stage, through design, through production deployment.

Possess a thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations.

Develop new web applications through packaged and customized applications.

Create web front-end user interface to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, SQL, C, VB, or other languages to make business applications accessible.

Design and implement user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces for ease of use.

May create company-wide Intranet.

Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.

Develop external web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.

Experienced in graphics, layout, scripting, programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies such as Java and ColdFusion.

Work Environment:

Location: Annapolis Junction MD [On-site]

Travel Requirements:

Minimal 0-20% Travel

Working Hours:

Standard 40 hour per week

Qualifications :

Required:

Clearance: Top Secret with SCI

Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD; will consider 4 additional years experience in lieu of Bachelors degree

Experience creating and editing technical documents

Ability to understand functional and technical specifications of IT systems

Must have a solid background in technical terminology for complex, enterprise level systems

Experience with translating technical details into user-friendly verbiage in the form of technical documentation.

Basic Compensation:

$140,000 to $150,000

This range is for the Maryland area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate?s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
