Frontend Engineer ? JavaScript, Vite & Ruby Location: Remote (U.S. Citizen Required) Job Type: Full-Time About the Role We're looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to help build and enhance the ConX (Constituent Experience) platform. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys creating fast, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces using modern JavaScript while collaborating closely with backend engineers working in Ruby. You'll be responsible for developing high-quality frontend applications and reusable web components that deliver exceptional user experiences. • Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications.
• Build reusable, standards-based web components using modern JavaScript.
• Develop frontend applications using Vite as the primary build tool.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate Ruby-based services and APIs.
• Ensure applications meet accessibility (WCAG) standards and follow best practices.
• Optimize application performance, maintainability, and browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture and engineering best practices.
• Work closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues across multiple browsers and devices.
