Job Description
Qualis Corporation is seeking a Technical Writer to support the development, revision, version control and publication of Enterprise IT service management-related documentation. The Technical Writer will be the primary POC on the project Team for:
- Rewrite and/or edit technical documents such as technical training content and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences
- Monitoring documentation updates and coordinating with Product/Process Owners for configuration control
- Support charter development, documentation and revision updates
- Support all Teams on documentation development and maintenance
- Creates templates
- Documents and updates processes and procedures - supporting functional leads
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field (relevant experience may be substituted for education)
- 7-12 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in support of DoD programs
- Must hold an active DoD Secret security clearance
- ITIL foundations preferred
