Technical Program Manager

Can you lead large cross-team programs that deliver software and services to influence the experience of millions of Amazon customers

Amazon is looking for Technical Program Managers to plan, design and execute large scale programs for its customers .

The portfolio of products are Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered, automated customer communication channels that help solve customer issues and delight them and prediction frameworks where data is used to pre-empt customer issues, address them pro-actively and dynamically connect them to the best equipped customer service associates(CSA).

The role demands fundamentally cross-border mindset and create products and solutions that are solving customer and CSA facing problems across geographies.

This role requires closely working with business owners and product managers across the organization to define, strategy, requirements and timelines as well as lead different technical teams through design, delivery, management and support. The role warrants a very high level of deep dive and an inherent bias for action towards solving complex problems.

This position involves regular communication with senior management on roadmaps, progress, risks and change control. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of technical product or program management experience

2+ years of software development experience

3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
