Job Description
The Technical Design Assistant will play an integral role in ensuring that their products are of the highest quality and meet the needs and expectations of customers.
Responsibilities- Assist the Technical Design Team in developing technical packs with specifications for garment construction, fit, and materials
- Review and analyze samples to ensure accuracy in fit and construction
- Communicate with vendors to coordinate sample development, conduct fittings, and resolve any technical issues or concerns
- Manage and maintain digital and physical records of tech packs, fit comments, and other relevant information
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide technical expertise and contribute to project development
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field
- 1+ years' experience in technical design in the apparel industry
- Proficient in the Adobe Suite, Microsoft Excel, and other related software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and materials
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and highly organized in record-keeping and sample management.
