We are looking for a Talented Team Leader to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Pendleton, IN.

Job Summary:

Coordinates the activities of a group of employees in order to meet established production specifications and schedules including volume, cost, wastage targets and quality standards.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Enhancing Safety:

By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you'll help maintain a safe working environment.

Promoting Health:

Reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will contribute to a healthier workplace.

Ensuring Compliance:

Adhering to HSE standards, policies, and procedures ensures that the workplace meets all safety and environmental requirements.

Upholding Quality:

Following standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures like SPC and poka-yoke will ensure high-quality outputs.

Supporting Delivery:

Monitoring team performance and coordinating tasks will help meet work specifications, schedules, and quality standards.

Facilitating Communication:

Effectively communicating with team members and support teams will ensure smooth operations and quick resolution of issues.

Fostering Continuous Improvement:

Participating in training and development, and coaching less experienced team members, will drive ongoing improvements.

Encouraging Teamwork:

Actively engaging in ways to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow will enhance overall team performance.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Maintain APS and hour-by-hour boards, keeping all information on the board fully updated, including post quality tracking charts and sheets.

Cover for absenteeism where needed within the team, group, or department.

Familiarity with hand tools and fasteners.

Knowledge of Microsoft suite.
