Job Description


The Role

In line with the core objectives of our newly formed Enterprise team, we are in search for a leader who will oversee a team of Account Managers, accountable for achieving strong retention and upsell revenue goals across their territory.

The Team Leader will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and coaching Account Managers to achieve their individual goals and targets. Helping the team members build strategic engagement plans and become strategic advisors to expand the value of our client partnerships.

The role will have significant involvement with Directors, Managers, on matters such as sales development, research, personnel, marketing, etc. And should be willing to get hands on to support high level client meetings in complex contexts.

This role will be based in Chicago and will report directly to the Manager, Enterprise Account Management.

Key Responsibilities include:

Territory Strategy:

  • Lead territory opportunity assessment, development and execution of annual account plans.

Team Performance

  • Achieve team revenue growth targets and best spread of individual team member performances
  • Maintain a pulse on renewal risk and growth potential and activate timely retention plans, with a healthy upsell pipeline that guarantees ample ability to exceed given targets.

Talent Development:

  • Lead recruitment, coaching and development of Account Managers
  • Assess individual support needs and take prompt actions to secure goals are evenly achieved across team.

Team Culture:

  • Foster a high performing consultative team, actively networking at senior levels of their prospect list

Requirements

Success in this role will require persistence, passion and strong strategic approaches to Account Management. Immediate requirements are:

  • Successful/consistent record delivering and exceeding revenue goals
  • Experience leading or mentoring within a sales organization
  • Ability to prioritize activities and time against the ultimate objectives. And ability to help others with this prioritization.
  • Proven ability to build and execute sales and relationship strategies (including account mapping, high engagement conversion, strong discovery of business need, etc.)
  • Outstanding ability to break down complex sales cycles into identification, qualification and close.
  • A good team player, someone able to drive and motivate people and inspire trust
  • Tenacity, drive, commercial awareness and persuasiveness to close deals.
  • A highly target-driven approach to work.
  • Strong understanding of Euromonitor's research methodology and product offering.

Pursuant to Illinois law, we provide salary range and benefit info on all job postings based in our Chicago office. The salary range for this role in Chicago is $95,000 to $110,000, based on experience and qualifications. Alongside Salary, many roles offer competitive variable compensation, and all roles offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance options, 401k, paid time off, hybrid work set up, core hours and other perks to support a positive work environment.
