Tax Attorney

MT LAW is a rapidly growing elite Business & Immigration law firm. We are expanding our firm?s areas of practice and we are seeking an Experienced Estate Planning Attorney for our SoCal office in Pasadena to handle a variety of legal matters in the areas of estates, trust, tax, business and wealth planning and related transactions.
You will engage in business development, meet with prospective and existing clients for consultations on both tax planning, estate planning matters of all levels of complexity, and pre and post-mortem estate administration; You will be responsible for the drafting and execution of various planning documents including but not limited to revocable and irrevocable trusts; You may also be expected to prepare and review contracts, business filings, and other documents relevant to trusts, corporate, tax, and other business matters. You will communicate with clients and other parties involved in transactions and other legal representations. You will manage your case portfolio and help our firm grow and expand its business practices.
Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:
Have minimum three (3) years solid experience in estate and tax planning for mid-high net worth individuals and families including citizens, permanent residences, and foreigners.
Exceptional research and writing skills; must be an excellent, detail-oriented draftsperson
Experienced in trust administration and probate procedure
Strong academic background
Solid business development skills, willingness to commute, attend seminars, networking functions, and build strong relationship with clients and other parties involved
Experience in business transactional practice, real estate principals, and business immigration is a huge plus.
Be able to interact effectively with clients, have polished communication skills (both oral and written).
Be a self-starter with excellent planning and organization skills. Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
License: Must be admitted to the California Bar
JD required, an additional LLM in tax or estate planning preferred.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese language preferred.
