Job Description

Weil?s US Banking & Finance Group is looking to hire Mid-Level and Senior Associates (preferably between class years 2019-2022) to reside in our Silicon Valley office. This role is a perfect opportunity for candidates that want a broad-based practice, expert training and mentorship and exposure to cutting-edge matters and top-tier clients. The group covers a wide range of products for both sponsor/borrower and lenders in syndicated leveraged finance or direct lending as well as liability management exercises and distressed capital raises. The role will involve significant partner and client contact. Mid-Level Associates will be on the front lines of structuring, negotiating, and implementing complex financings (domestic and global) across a variety of industries and specialties. Ideal candidates should have 3-7 years of meaningful experience with: (i) drafting and negotiating commercial terms grids, commitment letters and definitive documentation for leveraged finance transactions, (ii) deal execution and management, (iii) supervision, mentoring and training of junior associates, and (iv) coordination with other groups within the firm. We are looking for highly motivated candidates with excellent writing, communication and analytical skills, market knowledge and the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing timelines.
