Surface Hand Grinder

Job Title: Surface Grinder Location: Sterling Heights, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $18/hour Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Surface Grinder to join our team in Sterling Heights, MI. The Surface Grinder will be responsible for grinding, polishing, and finishing metal or other materials to meet specified requirements. This position requires the ability to operate grinding equipment and ensure high-quality results.

Requirements Key Responsibilities: Grind, polish, and finish parts according to specifications Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards Operate surface grinding tools safely and efficiently Clean and maintain tools and work area to ensure safety and cleanliness Follow all safety guidelines and wear proper protective equipment Assist in other tasks as needed by the supervisor

Maintain accurate records of work performed, if required Qualifications:

Previous experience using surface grinding tools is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
