Our client is seeking a full-time, licensed Structural Engineer with experience in large-scale Senior Living, Healthcare, Multifamily High-Rise, and Surgery Centers for both new construction and renovation projects . The Structural Engineer will be responsible for managing assigned projects , ensuring high-quality engineering solutions while maintaining budget and schedule requirements.
This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver well-coordinated and technically proficient structural engineering designs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee the structural design and management of assigned projects
- Ensure total quality control of engineering efforts, meeting client expectations and project requirements
- Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to develop efficient structural systems within budget and time constraints
- Participate in design and construction meetings , representing the firm professionally
- Conduct site visits and structural assessments , ensuring compliance with design standards and construction practices
- Identify and resolve design and construction issues efficiently
- Develop graphic and written construction documents
- Manage project timelines by prioritizing and scheduling tasks effectively
- Provide expertise in Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) compliance for healthcare-related designs
- Florida Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Required
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an architecture/engineering (AE) environment
- Proven ability to design appropriate structural systems within budget and time limitations
- Strong experience in Senior Living, Healthcare, Multifamily, and High-Rise Construction
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of engineers and architects
- Ability to analyze and solve structural issues in both design and field conditions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
