One of our companies is currently looking for a Staff Engineer - Backend in India .

You'll design scalable and secure backend services, solve complex technical challenges, and lead with hands-on expertise. Accountabilities:

• Architect and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems supporting real-time applications.
• Lead the development of complex technical solutions with a focus on quality, maintainability, and security.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders and cross-functional teams to establish and uphold backend best practices.
• Optimize backend infrastructure for low latency and high throughput, ensuring system reliability at scale.
• Guide junior engineers through technical challenges and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Drive the adoption of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and maintain robust unit testing practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in backend engineering, including building large-scale, distributed systems.
• Expertise in at least one of the following languages: Go , Java , JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js) , or Python .
• Proven experience working with microservices architecture, real-time technologies (e.g., WebSockets), and scalable system design.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL and relational databases, and strong understanding of data protection and security standards.
• Background in startup environments with experience building products from the ground up.
• Familiarity with infrastructure design, server performance optimization, and cloud-native development.
• Bonus: Experience with AI model integration, React, or previous exposure to fintech applications.
