Senior DevOps Engineer supports Mail Innovations IT applications deployed in Azure Cloud, On Prem (Data Center and Processing Facilities) Manages MI support team , handles MI IT incidents through resolution and root cause analysis, institutes best practices such as Site Reliability Engineering principles to improve MI business support and customer satisfaction with IT services.

He/She provides advice on industry best practices and available standards, methods, tools, and applications. This position analyzes, diagnoses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to meet time, and cost and quality targets. The Technology Support Manager demonstrates leadership through effective communications with colleagues, subordinates, and customers. He/She facilitates collaboration among stakeholders to manage diverse objectives. This position researches, determines, and utilizes customer requirements to prepare and present effective proposals.

He/She reviews periodicals and reports and researches industry best practices and cutting edge technologies to maintain technical skills and knowledge. The Technology Support Manager organizes Information Services (I.S.) departments and user groups to manage effective deployments and implementations and leads project and program activities to ensure deliverables are completed within established deadlines.

_This role requires periodic deployment support over the weekends typically Sunday night India time._

OTHER CRITERIA:

• 7+ Past experience supporting applications in .Net, SQL Server, Windows, Azure Cloud, CI/CD
• 5+ years prior experience with SRE/DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines using ADO.
• Experience managing and administering Azure resources (AKS, ASB, App Services, App Insights, Azure SQL etc.)
• Experience with Windows Server and IIS
• Strong experience with SQL DB and developing T-SQL queries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working with multi-functional technical and business teams and senior management.
• Ability to handle critical support and deployment requests, collaborate with multiple groups such as Operational Command Center, Technical Services, Database Service teams etc. to bring resolution.
• Strong emphasis on SRE as an engineering discipline with a focus on automation
• Experience of working Kubernetes is a plus.
