Job Description
- Ownership of general ledger
- Maintain organized accounting files and supporting workpapers
- Assist with monthly journal entries
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Complete month-end and year-end close tasks timely
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Prepare documents for audits and assist with audit requests
- Ability to work efficiently with company accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ad hoc reporting and projects
- Provide support to leadership team of the company
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (Accounting concentration preferred)
- 1-2 years of professional accounting experience
- CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheets
- Knowledge of an accounting information system is a plus
