Job Description

Ownership of general ledger
Maintain organized accounting files and supporting workpapers
Assist with monthly journal entries
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Complete month-end and year-end close tasks timely
Prepare and review monthly financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Prepare documents for audits and assist with audit requests
Ability to work efficiently with company accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Ad hoc reporting and projects
Provide support to leadership team of the company

Requirements

Bachelors degree (Accounting concentration preferred)
1-2 years of professional accounting experience
CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheets
Knowledge of an accounting information system is a plus
Attention to detail
Strong organizational and communication skills
Confidentiality and integrity
