Our Quick Coupling Division is looking for a Sr. Product Engineer to address design responsibilities for assigned products. This role supports the Corporate Win Strategy by owning the design and lifecycle of assigned quick coupling products, from concept through production support. The role develops new products and variants and improves existing designs to enhance cost, quality, and performance. This role partners closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, sales, and customers to drive new product development, product improvements, and technical problem-solving.

Parker's Quick Coupling Division is the largest manufacturer of quick couplings in the world. A quick coupling is used to provide a fast, make-or-break connection of fluid or gas transfer lines. Our plants provide critical equipment for many different industries including Agriculture, Construction, and Data Processing.

New Product Design & Development

• Translate product requirements into engineering specifications, architectures, and design solutions.
• Develop concepts, conduct trade-off studies, and select materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
• Create detailed mechanical, including tolerances, GD&T, and stack-up analyses
• Ensure product validation through prototyping, testing, manufacturing review.
• Own design documentation: CAD models, drawings, BOMs, DFMEA, design reviews, and release packages.
• Defines product performance standards and product acceptance standards using knowledge of systems and laboratory testing equipment and procedures. Determines disposition of non conforming material using engineering judgment and knowledge.

Prototyping & Validation

• Plan and execute prototype builds (EVT/DVT/PVT or equivalent phases).
• Define and run verification/validation test plans (reliability, environmental, safety, performance).
• Analyze test data, drive design iterations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Support regulatory and compliance needs (e.g., UL/CE/FCC/IEC/ISO standards as relevant).
• Performs root cause analysis using engineering principles and knowledge of manufacturing processes. Determine root cause using statistical methods (e.g., Design of Experiments (DOE), SPC) to enlighten future design choices or evaluate design alternatives.
• Creates new products for new applications or modifies existing products. Utilizes knowledge of systems and works directly with OEM's to determine
• product performance requirements. Leads team members of product development projects, and justifies monetary resources and personnel to attain project goals.

• B.S. in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
• 8 to 10+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Good math skills, and familiarity with personal computer and CAD software required.
• Must possess strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use basic measuring tools, and hands-on capabilities to work on projects without supervision.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes preferred.
• Prefer lean manufacturing,
• Six Sigma, project management, FMEA and quality systems experience.
• FEA / CFD / computational analysis experience preferred.

Competitive Compensation

• Pay Range: $91600 to $152750 annually
• Participation in Annual Incentive Program
