he Specialist Planner interfaces with multiple departments and organizations and is primarily responsible for ensuring project deliverables are completed on schedule.

Essential Functions:

Communicate, Coordinate, and Negotiate workflow through multiple work centers via various functional organizations to secure needed resources while ensuring changing customer demands, and schedule deadlines are met.

Expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.

Monitor order status, including material status, managing WIP areas, location accuracy, inventory discrepancies, manufacturing and program support, and communication support.

Ensure availability of materials to meet production requirements and delivery commitments. Works to resolve material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.

Leads stand up production meetings to capture status and report out any issues.

Advises program management on scheduling timelines.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance .

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of prior related experience. Masters Degree with 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience

Requires knowledge of production planning.

Knowledge of project management.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Top Secret clearance preferred.

Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.

Production planning experience in a project based enviroment.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $86,000 - $115,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
