We are looking for a passionate and experienced Solution Architect - VAS to handle system installations in customer delivery projects globally.

In your role, you will be performing system installations. Starting with the preparations, you will be part of a project team where all aspects regarding the system installation, integration and configuration is gathered, discussed, documented and agreed with the customers. As soon as that is ready you will continue with the integration and configuration of the system all the way up to a successful launch of a new system.

The role as Solution Architect - VAS provides opportunities to interact with customers in familiar and unfamiliar cultures and countries around the world as travel will be required from time to time.

You have a relevant university degree and experience from technical roles within the telecom and/or IT industry.

Requirements

We think you have experience and knowledge within the following areas:

• 12+ years of experience as System Engineer or a similar role
• Experience from the telecom industry
• Linux based systems
• Databases such as Oracle
• Telecom systems installation and Integration (Charging systems and VAS applications)
• IP network architecture, configuration, integration, load balancing and redundancy
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenStack)
• Public Cloud installations (e.g AWS and Azure)
• Security and system hardening concepts (CIS, OWASP, NIST or similar)
• Fluent in both Arabic and English
