The Arc of Ocean County is looking for an experienced Skills Trainer to join our Vocational department. The Skills Trainer is responsible for conducting workshops and applied learning activities while managing mentor participation within our Pre-ETS program. They will work with the individuals within the program to ensure:

• Work Readiness Training
• Independent Living Skills
• Job Exploration counseling
• Instructions and Coaching for Self-advocacy
• Work-based learning experiences
• Post-Secondary and transition counseling

Mandatory Deliverables to be met or exceeded include:

• 6 weeks of daily workshop instruction for 15-20 youths with disabilities
• 15-20 internship placements

Schedule: Flexible to meet the needs of the program

Pay: $21-22 per hour

Location: Ocean County, NJ

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field; Master's Preferred
• Minimum of 2 years placement experience
• Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Highly proficient in Microsoft and Web applications
• Must have a Valid NJ Driver's License with no more than five points
