WHOWEARELOOKINGFOR

Asthe SeniorUnderwriter, youwillplayacriticalroleinourFinancialLinesunderwritingteam.Youwillberesponsibleforevaluatingandunderwritingcomplexriskswithinthefinancialsector,including DirectorsandOfficers(D&O)liability,ProfessionalLiability(E&O),CyberLiability,andEmploymentPracticesLiability(EPL). Yourstrategicinsight,underwritingexpertise,andleadershipskillswilldriveprofitablegrowthandensurethedeliveryofexceptionalservicetoourclients.

WHATYOUWILLDO

• Evaluateandunderwritecomplexriskswithinthefinancialsector,includingD&Oliability,E&Oliability,CyberLiability,andEPL.
• Conductthoroughriskassessmentsandanalysistodetermineappropriatecoverageandpricingstrategies.
• Reviewandanalyzeunderwritingdata,markettrends,andindustrydevelopmentstoidentifyemergingrisksandopportunities.
• Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithclients,brokers,andindustrypartners.
• Collaboratewiththesalesandmarketingteamstodevelopandexecuteeffectiveclientengagementstrategies.
• Provideexpertadviceandsolutionstoclients,addressingtheiruniqueinsuranceneedsandrequirements.
• ManageandoptimizetheFinancialLinesunderwritingportfolio,ensuringabalancedandprofitablebookofbusiness.
• Monitorportfolioperformanceandtrends,makingrecommendationsforportfolioadjustmentsasneeded.
• Implementriskmitigationstrategiesandlosspreventionmeasurestominimizeexposureandmaximizeprofitability.

Requirements

• WHATYOU'LLBRINGTOTHETABLE
• Bachelor'sdegreeinBusiness,Finance,RiskManagement,orrelatedfield;Master'sdegreepreferred.
• Minimumof5yearsofexperienceinunderwritingleadershiproleswithintheinsuranceindustry,withafocusonFinancialLines.
• ExtensiveknowledgeofFinancialLinesproductsandcoverages,includingD&Oliability,E&Oliability,CyberLiability,andEPL.
• Stronganalyticalskillsandabilitytoevaluatecomplexrisksandunderwritingdataeffectively.
• Excellentleadership,communication,andinterpersonalskills.
• ProfessionaldesignationssuchasCPCU,RPLU,orARMpreferred.

The annual salary for this role is structured within a range of USD$160,000 to USD$180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
