AECOM is seeking an experienced Transit/Rail Senior Project Manager to join our Seattle, WA office.

JOB SUMMARY:

Qualified applicants will be able to demonstrate an established career in the transportation industry and have a successful track record with the delivery of transportation infrastructure programs. This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved with mega capital infrastructure projects for our clients. The applicant will have demonstrated experience in leading major pursuits and the delivery of major programs. The objective of the position is to lead, pursue, develop, and execute major projects required to deliver client programs within established and agreed budgets and schedules, thereby expanding AECOM's reputation as the preferred transportation consultant in the industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead development and execution of significant transportation projects including, light rail, heavy rail subway, commuter rail, high-speed rail, bus rapid transit, aerial or underground project pursuits, and delivery.

Lead the coordination between different disciplines during delivery of major projects being responsible of the quality of the delivery as well as the interface with the client and transit stakeholders

Establish relationships with Transit Agencies, and other local agencies in Seattle area.

Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM's values both internally and externally.

Demonstrated expertise in the area of managing and preparing transit/rail project teams.

Proven track record with large client account management, mega-project pursuits, and engineering/planning staff development.

A desire to work with external contractors/consultants, AECOM's other divisions/regions and interact directly with major clients.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BA/BS Degree + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

15+ years of experience leading transit/rail projects with mega-project management experience.

Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.

License in state of Washington

Ability to scope/estimate complex projects.

Track and manage task budgets and schedule experience.

Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction.

Ability to work with various multi-disciplined teams is essential to this role.

Provide in-depth Quality Control and Quality Assurance for design/project management/program management.

Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $130,000.00 - $180,000.00.
