We design autonomous movement and mobility, artificial intelligence and machine learning, manipulation, simulation, robotic management software, predictive analytics, and much more. The Amazon Robotics Supply Chain organization sources and manufactures a portfolio of robotics technology and is responsible for getting the right materials to the right place at the right time to support our network of global fulfillment and transportation solutions.

The Amazon Robotics Supply Chain organization is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a strong background in supplier development, process implementation, and systems optimization. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven professional with experience in category and supplier segmentation, contract lifecycle management, and process improvement initiatives. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining robust supplier management frameworks while ensuring alignment with corporate social responsibility policies and system integration requirements.

Key job responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive supplier and category segmentation frameworks

Lead the design and execution of contract lifecycle management processes

Drive compliance with social responsibility policies across the supply base

Support ERP system implementations, upgrades, and new technology integrations

Collaborate with commodity management teams on vendor lifecycle management

Define and execute supplier selection processes with focus on continuous improvement

Create and maintain supplier performance metrics and scorecards

Develop data analytics reports for spend analysis and supplier performance tracking

Lead process automation initiatives to eliminate manual workflows

Establish and maintain best practices for supplier relationship management

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between procurement, engineering, and operations teams

Support strategic sourcing initiatives and cost optimization programs

A day in the life

As a Supply Chain Manager at Amazon Robotics, you'll lead the development and implementation of supplier management frameworks across our operations. You'll collaborate with commodity managers to establish supplier segmentation strategies and standardized evaluation processes. Working closely with engineering, procurement, and quality teams, you'll identify opportunities for process automation and improvement in supplier management workflows.

Your expertise will be crucial in developing consistent approaches for supplier evaluations, performance tracking, and relationship management. You'll create and document standardized processes and best practices that enable effective supplier lifecycle management across different commodity teams.

About the team

Our Supply Chain team at Amazon Robotics is responsible for the supply chain design and strategic sourcing for new technologies, ensuring we have the right partners and processes to bring robotics solutions to life. We're a diverse group of problem solvers who combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to transform how Amazon automates its fulfillment centers worldwide.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field

5+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field

Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Experience leading process improvements

Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Experience with Coupa, Kinaxis, and SAP
