Job Description:

L3Harris Interstate Electronics Corporation (IEC) is looking for a senior Material Program Manager to support the Range & Test Solutions business area. The Program Manager will be responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned programs while achieving key business results and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

Oversee all phases of program management, from concept to closure

Serve as primary liaison between Supply Chain Management and other functions for key programs/products

Manage key supplier performance and relationships

Lead supplier recovery strategies, communicating critical issues to internal stakeholders with solution-focused actions

Optimize and manage procurement processes for compliance and efficiency

Develop comprehensive program plans, including schedule, budgets, staffing, and other plan elements

Manage programs to achieve program and business objectives

Monitor program execution, tracking progress against plans and take corrective actions to course correct as necessary

Manage risks and opportunities to ensure program success

Act as the primary interface with customers, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.

Provide clear, concise program status updates to both management and customers

Lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve goals

Lead proposal preparation to support new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 6 years' experience as a Project/Program Manager

Experience in Supply Chain and/or material planning

Advanced knowledge of Project/Program Management methodologies and practices

Experience in proposal preparation, including developing cost estimates, schedules, and technical content, to support bids and contract negotiations

Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and various levels of management.

Expert knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its application

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of directing teams toward successful project outcomes.

Up to 20% of travel may be expected.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience with DoD programs

Subcontractor Management experience

Formal training in Project Management

PMI certification (e.g. PMP)

Active DoD security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to DoD classified information.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $104,500 - $193,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements..
