Essential Functions:

Create and maintain schematic symbols for Electrical Computer Aided Design (ECAD) library from component vendor data sheets.

Create and maintain solder pad footprints for ECAD library from component vendor data sheets and IPC standards.

Create and maintain 3D Models of ECAD library parts for use by Mechanical Engineering.

Ensure that all requirements for manufacturing and assembly are met.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Competent experience in ECAD libraries, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in ECAD libraries is desired. Associate degree or certificate in Graphics Technology or Engineering Technology is desired but not required.

Competent skills and experience with ECAD software applications and related PC equipment. Specific experience with Mentor Xpedition, Siemens NX, and Siemens Teamcenter software is desirable.

Competent knowledge and experience of electrical components, component vendor data sheets, and electrical schematics is desirable.

General knowledge of industry standards such as IPC for design and ASME/ANSI for documentation is desired.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $78,000 - $145,000. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $90,000 - $167,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
