Our client, a leader in insurance technology, is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be part of the Epic Benefits team supporting the development of innovative web applications and microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a genuine passion for programming, and the ability to mentor junior developers, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer
Location: Remote
Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000
What's the Job?
Design and implement software utilizing Object Oriented principles, design patterns, and testing practices.
Maintain a web-based solution based on a microservice architecture.
Integrate with 3rd party RESTful APIs to enhance application functionality.
Mentor and review code written by peers, focusing on readability and efficiency.
Ensure the entire stack is designed and built for security, speed, and scalability.
What's Needed?
5+ years of experience in software development languages, such as C#, .NET, Golang, React, Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Proficiency with microservice architecture and cloud computing technologies.
Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern test strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
