Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a senior full stack developer to help us build new products and scale our infrastructure from the ground up. As a fast-growing health tech startup, we're looking for a candidate who is willing to roll up their sleeves and work on projects ranging from dev ops to bug fixes to new product build. A good candidate is a fast learner, an analytical problem solver, organized and an excellent communicator.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Experience working in our tech stack: Serverless Framework, SQL Server RDS, Postgres, AWS Lambda, S3, .NET 6, C#, React, Typescript and Java script.
• Experience with any UI automation framework (Puppeteer, Cypress or Selenium)
• Experience with X12 EDI Standards (270/271, 278)
• Experience working in HIPAA and SOC2 Type II compliant company
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend EHR systems
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with teammates
• Interest and curiosity in tackling interoperability in U.S healthcare
• Must be available to work in EST time zone

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced Agile environment, actively participating in all Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, monitor application performance, and implement solutions to improve system reliability.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and fostering a culture of quality and knowledge sharing.
• Develop and implement unit and automation tests, integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure robust software delivery.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, assisting in skill development and onboarding to promote team growth and collaboration.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, refactor legacy code, and promote best practices for code maintainability and scalability.
