Do you want to work in Scientific Imaging Application Development? Do you enjoy developing software that helps achieve scientific breakthroughs?

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing and debugging scientific imaging applications that exceed customer expectations.

What we?ll get you doing:

Design, implement and debug changes to new and existing software applications

Share in code and design reviews with Agile team

Collaborate with customer team to translate customer requirements to project requirements

Create user-friendly interfaces and workflows

Create unit tests for software components

The essential requirements of the role include:

University degree (Bachelor of Science degree minimum) in engineering or related subject

10+ years experience in a professional software engineering group

Proficiency in software engineering design best practices

Proficiency with C++

Proficiency in Windows application development

Ability to manage own work and communicate clearly to help the team succeed

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Software development tools, including Jira, Git, Visual Studio, unit test environments, continuous build systems

Additional programming languages, including Python, C#, .NET, and/or MFC

High content imaging or similar scientific imaging workflows
