Requirements

1. Roles & Responsibilities

1. Configuring SQL Server instances and setting up the necessary components, features, and services. This includes configuring the server settings, memory allocation, etc.

2. Backup Strategy : Implementing the backup strategy to ensure data is regularly backed up and can be restored in case of data loss or corruption. This includes full, differential, and transaction log backups and the backup should be taken daily, weekly, monthly as per the backup policy

3. Query Performance : Analyzing and optimizing SQL queries to improve performance, reduce latency, and ensure efficient use of resources which should involve indexing strategies, etc.

4. Resource Management : Monitoring and managing SQL Server resources such as CPU, memory, and disk I/O to ensure the database performs optimally under varying workloads.

5. Access Control: Managing user permissions and roles within SQL Server to ensure that only authorized users have access to sensitive data. This includes implementing role-based access control (RBAC) and managing SQL Server logins and database users.

6.To work in close coordination with Technical Team and provide support and guidance on all the functional area(s) as stated above.
