The Project Analyst will be responsible to support Space Systems engineering to achieve day-to-day objectives. Provides analytical and program support and guidance to engineers on a variety of tasks. Plans and executes experiments and gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical/analytical data. Analyzes, maintains, compiles and formats data and design changes. Produces reports and engineering documentation. Acts as the communication liaison flowing overall objectives and tracking and monitoring progress between Engineering, Value Stream Office, etc. to ensure the teams meet schedule requirements.

What You Will Do

Responsible for updating program cadence data files

Review/Analyze monthly Earned Value and Estimate to Complete (ETC) reports for data integrity/work with finance to resolve issues

Analyze, update and maintain program schedules

Update and load monthly ETC files into Integrated Status & Assessment Tool (ISAT) and provide status to program leads

Provide weekly actuals to program leads/Cost Account Manager (CAM)

Facilitate and support program CAM review meetings

Provide monthly Quantifiable Backup Data (QBD) updates to program lead/CAM

Review/Analyze Variance reports for data integrity

Identify critical path and near critical path tasks within the program schedule

Create metrics to understand how each program impacts the others with shared resources

Lead stand-up meetings for team to obtain task status

Monitors and tracks program status, escalating and reporting challenges, shortfall, issues, etc. to leadership and key stakeholders

Analyze work packages to determine remaining labor/material ETC

Document work package variances in program deliverable reports

Create program headcount analysis reports

Utilize and compile Detailed Planning Template (DPT) forms

Work with engineering functional teams to track schedule, Supplier Request for Information (SRI)s and Quality Notes (QN)s

Manage Supplier Data Requirements List (SDRL) and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) tracking

Pulling actuals from SAP and analyze data

Review\Analyze task durations with PE/Chief

Input data into BMW

Qualifications You Must Have

+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract ?

Experience coordinating and leading activities. (This role Interfaces with Technicians, Engineers, Operations Project Specials (OPS), Value Stream Leaders (VSL) and Engineering Managers and Technical Project Chiefs to create/edit documentation)

Experience effectively communicate with people across multiple organizations

Qualifications We Prefer

Understanding of Collins Aerospace Customer-Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE) and Collins Management System (CMS)

Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Experience leading engineering tasks

Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
