We are seeking an entrepreneurial Sr Product Manager - Technical to spearhead our efforts in developing world-class AI data management solutions and experiences. In this role, you will be the voice of the customer and responsible for driving a product roadmap that enables Amazon to rapidly build and deploy AI models across our businesses. You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their evolving needs, and deliver innovative product solutions across

customer-facing web applications and technical systems. You will operate as the "CEO" of your product space, responsible for driving business impact and optimizing software investment ROI. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across multiple teams, eager to deep-dive customer data, and able to adapt and iterate quickly.

Key job responsibilities

Oversee the AGI Data Services data ingestion management systems responsible for consuming customer input data, managing that data, and triggering data orchestration across multiple human workflows and fulfillment channels. You own development of a customer-facing data management customer portal and cross-service systems integrations across multiple Amazon AI systems. You own the data ingestion management product vision, strategy, roadmap execution, and success metrics, regularly drafting PR/FAQs, product requirements documents (PRDs), and product updates for leadership. Work will include deep-diving complex customer data and anecdotes to distill product opportunities, identifying product launch blockers, surfacing risks and navigating technical tradeoffs, and collaborating with various technical teams. Your technical expertise and operational excellence skills will influence the organizations decisions and customer experience. This role operates in a highly ambiguous, fun, and evolving space with the opportunity to innovate and impact the ways in which Amazon develops AI models.

A day in the life

Drive the vision, strategy, and requirements for the data ingestion and data distribution product charters, owning expansion to new workflows and fulfillment channels

Build innovative data ingestion features that help customers stay informed on data ingestion requirements, closing the gap between planned ingestion and actual ingestion

Expand automated ingestion solutions to AI application developers

Develop secure, responsible critical data orchestration pipelines

Complete systems integrations across Amazon AGI's product suite to automate workflows, enable lineage tracking, and establish data governance

Explore new business opportunities, interviewing customers and discovering ways to invent and simplify AI data management

Collaborate cross-functionally with business and operations teams, data associates, software engineerings, and science teams to scale data management processes

Establish mechanisms and author product communications to keep customers, leadership and stakeholders informed of the ingestion product roadmap

Work directly with software engineerings to launch new products from ideation through delivery, and grow product adoption

Optimize user experiences (UX)

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with end to end product delivery

Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Experience managing technical products or online services

Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
