Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager

that will enable India and Emerging Markets of Amazon to build a fast and sustainable customer shopping and delivery promise experience. The individual in this role will develop and own the Product and Tech vision, Product roadmap, Business Requirement Documents and deliver flagship features hands-on. This role will have a dedicated tech team to deliver their roadmap while continuing to work across partner teams based across the globe. The ideal candidate will obsess over customers and have a proven track record of delivering results through building products that touch millions of customers OR build products that manage high level of complexity. This role would require the candidate to be comfortable analyzing large amounts of data, have experience with customer facing UX changes, and someone who is comfortable working in highly ambiguous areas.

As a Senior PM, you will work closely with other PMs, software developers, research scientists, and category managers to build shopping and customer experience that create a substantially differentiated CX for Amazon customers. You will have the opportunity to participate and shape product developments for not only India but other locales around the globe for Amazon.

This position requires superior analytical thinkers, able to quickly approach large ambiguous problems and apply your technical, business, and engineering expertise to rapidly prototype and deliver solutions. Successful candidates must like working in fast-paced environments which encourage collaborative and creative problem solving, be able to measure and estimate risks, constructively critique peer research, extract and manipulate data across various data marts, and align research focuses on Amazon?s strategic needs.

Key job responsibilities

You will build products that deliver YY million $ to the top line or save XX million $ on the bottom line.

You will not only be responsible for "recommendations" but actual improvements made to bottom or top line.

You will engage with senior leadership on drafting proposals for new concepts, improvement plans, 3-year strategy and outlook.

You will be a subject matter expert in best in class shopping, customer, and delivery experience policies at Amazon. You will understand intricate details of our fulfillment and ordering systems along with their impact on ground-level

You will develop comprehensive product plans, incorporating market requirements and the competitive arena. Effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver key capabilities on time and on budget.

You will work on building a unified Customer and Shopping Experience for Amazon.in and other emerging marketplaces.

You will own the PRFAQ and execution of the product features.

You will be the gate keeper of any CX changes that impact shopping and delivery CX.

A day in the life

On a regular basis, you will

Manage a cross-functional process for prioritizing and planning roadmap and major product releases.

Use high judgement to make critical tradeoffs, balancing both business requirements and technological tradeoffs.

Create and execute go-to-market plans for new features. Monitor key performance metrics to ensure product performance and identify optimization opportunities.

Be the gate-keeper of any changes that impact shopping and delivery CX.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with end to end product delivery

Experience as a product manager or owner

Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
