Senior Manager, Global Procurement - Clinical Drug Supply & Logistics

We are looking for a Sr. Manager Global Procurement-R&D responsible to support and assist in the development and implementation of the global clinical drug supply and logistics (CDSL) category strategies, including comparator logistics. We need someone who can demonstrate capability to proactively manage a supply base to increase value, minimize risk, and ensure quality & cost efficiency by working collaboratively with the business unit.

A typical day might include:

Supporting the definition and implementation of the global clinical drug supply and logistics (CDSL) category strategies, including comparator logistics, to serve global and regional business needs as assigned.

Working closely with partners to manage discussions related to the global CDSL and comparator category strategies and aligns category priorities with Procurement management and partners.

Represents Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in the global CDSL category strategies with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of Global Procurement.

Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.

May, either directly or through a matrix structure, manage team of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasks (if applicable.)

May provide coaching and guidance on job performance and career development to direct reports (if applicable) and provides leadership examples for the organization.

This role might be for you if you have:

Experience building relationships with partners and suppliers to get results for Regeneron.

Success working effectively with cross-functional teams in Global Clinical Category strategies through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.

Can provide insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable optimal negotiations.

Experience managing associate level professionals preferred

Working knowledge with sourcing contracting tools, ERP's, and eRFx systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other)

To be considered for this role, we are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience in procurement, including experience in Pharma/BioPharma. You will also need experience successfully managing category processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories.

This role requires being onsite a minimum of 3 days per week.

$132,400.00 - $216,000.00
