Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement control system architectures (PLC, HMI/SCADA, DCS)
  • Develop schematics, panel layouts, and network designs (under 480VAC)
  • Manage project scope, budget, and timeline to ensure profitability
  • Perform onsite commissioning and technical troubleshooting
  • Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering a high-performing team
  • Cultivate strong client relationships and support business growth initiatives

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's in Electrical/Control, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field)
  • Licensure: PMP certification a plus
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years in industrial automation (PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS/DeltaV)
    • 2-3 years minimum with Emerson DeltaV platform
    • Experience in PLC-5 to ControlLogix conversions
    • Project management for systems up to $10M
  • Technical Skills:
    • PLC platforms: Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Modicon
    • HMI/SCADA: Ignition, FactoryTalk, Aveva, GE iFIX
    • Programming: Ladder Logic, Structured Text, VBA, SQL, Python
    • Industrial networking: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus
  • Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, client relations, and team mentorship
