What You'll Do: The paralegal in this practice group supports Principals and Associates in securities-related arbitration, mediation, and court case matters. Essential Duties Performing legal research. Gathering and analyzing of documents. Prepare and file state registration documents Assist with arbitration/trial scheduling and preparation. Prepare and file SEC documents. Manage substantial caseload. Interact with firm personnel, outside counsel, and external vendors. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education 3 years' of corporate securities experience required. Securities arbitration/litigation experience preferred. Strong knowledge of federal and state securities law, SEC and FINRA. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical skills. Familiarity with document management systems is desirable. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office. A minimum of a 4-year college degree or relevant work equivalent. Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000. The salary range does not guarantee, obligate, nor set expectations of an applicant?s salary in the event of hire. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate?s years of experience, qualifications and skill set.
