Sanitation Technician

Our recruitment partner is currently hiring a Sanitation Technician for a food manufacturing facility located in Sussex, WI . This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant production environment. The schedule follows a rotating 2-2-3 shift from 5:50 AM to 6:00 PM , and the starting pay rate is $21.00 per hour . A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Clean and sanitize plant equipment as required
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment and cleaning agents safely
• Comply with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
• Reference and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
• Maintain sanitation standards throughout the facility, both indoors and outdoors
• Coordinate with other departments to execute sanitation schedules effectively
• Collect and dispose of waste materials, including cardboard, plastic, and wastewater
• Collaborate with team members to minimize production downtime
• Support a safe work environment by reporting equipment or safety concerns
• Ensure proper labeling and staging of finished goods for shipping
• Maintain accurate and thorough operator logs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Basic math and computer literacy preferred
• Capable of standing for 12-hour shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail
